Reporting to the Director, you will lead a specialist team of people responsible for the development of the front-end supply chain management operations with the end client. Day to day it is the team’s responsibility to work with the customer on Demand Forecasting, management of the existing inventory in the network and ensuring what is ordered will match the replenishment need from the stores.

An accomplished inventory and supply chain management professional, you will already have the leadership skills to drive a team in a highly complex inventory management operation. Skilled in leveraging supply chain efficiencies through effective planning, you will know exactly how to bridge relationship across retail, logistics and your area to procurement.

Reporting to an Operations Director, the successful individual will take leadership responsibility for a significant sized team that ensures the effective service delivery of a national operation. Supporting various aspects you will lead a team with various direct reports that allow commercial vehicle operations to function at a site level with no service interruptions.
Of graduate calibre, you will have a minimum of 5-1- years’ experience in managing and supporting significant sized commercial vehicle fleet and transport operations. Ideally you will have a background from within 3pl, in-house or fleet provider, but operating on a national basis, with complex and sizable vehicle and asset fleets. It would definitely understand the complexities of fleets in excess of 3,000+ assets including tractor units and trailers.
You will have direct experience also of compliance, operational planning control and administration of large commercial vehicle fleets, include electronic VOSA requirements, MOT and self certification etc.
